This is from a cold winter evening in Melides, Portugal where I almost broke my right shin bone. Still have the scar. The owner of this beach bar thought it would be ok to put a heavy steel umbrella frame on a patch of sand people are likely to walk past for a walk on the beach. All lights were out, which as a light painter I aplaude, but that bonebreaker of a frame should have been in storage. After a lot of cursing and a timeout gazing at the stars I made this one with a flashlight and RGB gels.
