Polarized Photons

These are camera rotations of a 4K screen playing animations I made. This time it occured to me that using a circular polarizer to shoot the LCD screen while the camera rotated may yield interesting results. I actually used a variND filter which is in fact just two circular polarizers in one filter. As some of you may know a circular polariser can obscure the light coming from an LCD completely as it turns. I thought I'd use that to my advantage to give the animations a nice organic fade in and out as the camera rotates, revealing and obscuring different parts of the animations in different ways depending on how fast I turn the camera.
