This is my third entry to the #Monomad Photography Challenge by @brumest hosted on @monochromes
My second entry, entitled Dualism, was muted due to a failure on my part to read the rule about cross-posting. Third time's a charm. 🙂
This is one of thirteen light painting self-portraits I made in 2013. The intention was to make an horizontal mosaic with light painting selfies (see bottom), which is similar in concept to my previous entry.
I light painted myself against a wall with green and blue finger lights. My arms look like they're dissolving. That is a consequence of being the light painter and the model simultaneously. Also, I didn't care about having the arms sharp because in this instance it reinforced the beam-me-up look I was after.
