Monomad Challenge Entry #2 - Dualism
This is my second entry to the Monomad Photography Challenge by @brumest hosted on @monochromes
Thank you for the mention on my first entry!
I was thinking hard about which B&W would be best suited as a second entry and then I remembered this series for which I wrote a description in 2013 that now feels a bit silly:
Deceitfully beautiful dualism tears through the fabric of our souls: divided, imploding and exploding simultaneously. Aching from spiritual pains crushing the young child's fragile eggshell mind. Just hang in there World. I'll get better at understanding your inner bowel movements so that perhaps I can inspire others to conquer nature too.
Like Friedrich Nietzsche so wisely wrote: Art is not merely an imitation of the reality of nature, but in truth a metaphysical supplement to the reality of nature, placed alongside thereof for its conquest.
I chose a 16:9 aspect ratio because I wanted the middle line to divide the frame as much as possible so that I could create a mosaic with 12 shots (see bottom) where the line would continue to the next photo above it.
I'm also on Instagram - Facebook - Flickr - Vimeo - Twitter
