Neo Silicate
Megaspores
You can tell these are oldies by how orange the skies were. Street lights have more efficient colder LEDs these days. Anyway, I chose to share these photos from 2013 in a park nearby as it was the association I had after my last post which doesn't have anything to do with light painting but the theme reminded me of these.
I used a variety of lights for the center piece which included a pink and a green lamp shade from IKEA connected to a 12 volt battery. The textured streaks on the sides are a tube with active water bubbles being illuminated by a blue LED inside the tube.
Sticking out of the ground are two stainless-steel tubes with ear pieces for kids to communicate through the underground to the other end of the park. Quite a clever toy but I have rarely seen kids use it.
And here's a black and white for good measure
