Crosshair Dance

I made the following series with a laser level scanning a black paper background while I dance naked in front of it. When I made these light paintings in 2018 I wanted abstract curves, constantly changing shape, disturbing the straight nines. After having used paper and cloth I came to the conclusion that my body worked best.

The laser is green but on the first two shots, which I never published before, I was using a cold white balance. The orange bits are actually pink UV reactive tape glued to my body which becomes orange with a green laser. The laser was moving slowly on a telescope mount to scan the entire frame.
