Centrifugal David

I just couldn't leave the shiny bust of David alone last night. Instead of panning the camera on the bust lit only by daylight, like on previous post, I rotated the camera and lit the scene with a Magilight while the bust was rotating on a turntable.

I really love the serendipitous face appearing in the middle of this first one. Pareidolia FTW. After I got this shot, I just couldn't stop and had to try several other patterns on the Magilight which by the way were all equirectangular tileable 360 light paintings from the Ricoh Theta V. Scroll down if you want to see the BTS.
