This is an outtake from November 2019. My mother has an oil painting of a sunset that's been unfinished for years, as she says, so decided it would be cool to finish it with light painting.

I used small lights close to the canvas and experimented with different ways of ocluding and diffusing them: my own hand, fingers, feathers, bits of cloth. The objective was to obscure the light just enough to create the desired diffuse yet textured effect I was aiming for.
