Neo Silicate
Arboreal Apparition
In the summer of 2017 I was having a lighters block. These were made in August when I finally forced myself to just go out again and do some light painting. There was a weeping willow in the local park that had been pruned the year before and looked like it stole Johnny Bravo's hairdo.
Initially I wanted to draw a face under the hair but I opted for something more spiritual. Much can be said about using light painting as a therapeutic or self-betterment tool. It's creative. It's physical. It can be emotional. To touch base with oneself. To find the inner buzz vibrating at the right frequencies again. Ì did.
